Located in Chicago, Lemon is a come-as-you-are cocktail bar and show space. With a bar program focusing on meticulously executed classics and seasonally driven originals, they seek to bring the neighborhood world-class entertainment while highlighting and promoting local talent.
Cocktail Bar - Lemon aims to bring a fresh approach to hospitality rooted in a deep appreciation for tradition. It is also our hope to dismantle certain conceptions and practices within the industry.
Performance Venue - This group of artists turned entrepreneurs will provide a creative sanctuary for all people. With a staunchly DIY mentality anchored in grassroots idealism, they will host music and art of all kinds.
Absurdist Lounge - Life is absurd - and they make a place for people to live that life! they have been developing an eclectic catalog of music, performance art, and events.
I was tasked with creating the LEMON brand. The logo is taking a literal approach to the word, but with a sleek modern take that can make the lounge feel sexy, classy, comforting, and a little DIY. The rest of the brand follows suit, giving way to mystery, excitement, and wonder.
