I was approached by my friend about branding his woodworking business, Hefling Hardwood. The only stipulation he has was to make a buffalo a centerpiece of his branding because it is his favorite animal. I wanted to give him a simple logo but one that would translate easily to a branding iron, for branding his work.
I wanted to use bold colors to take the mind to other companies whose target audience is interested in tools that woodworkers would use like Makita.
